Recipe for Own saline solution

Mix your own saline solution

You need:

  • 1 dl water
  • 1ml (1 spice measure) iodine-free table salt.

Do this:
Boil the water and the iodine-free salt in a saucepan with a lid and let it stand until it mixes well. Pull the saucepan to the side and then allow the mixture to cool to body temperature.
If you need more, just double the recipe.

This saline solution becomes a so-called physiological saline solution with 0.9% sodium chloride (saline) and has the same amount of salt that we naturally have in the body in, for example, blood and tears. This saline solution is sterile and durable for 24 hours before the effect wears off if you have been careful to boil using clean utensils and store it in a jar with a lid.
